Allow me to answer some of your questions...

If you have any other questions, please feel free to call me at (512) 928-4889 or email me at dylankdavies@gmail.com

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance, but would be happy to provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please check your mental health benefits to see if you would be covered. Insurance companies are more hesitant to cover couples therapy, so be sure to ask specifically about this service when calling about therapy.

Do you offer consultations before committing to therapy?

Absolutely! I offer free 10-minute phone consultations before scheduling an initial intake appointment. Then, if we want to proceed, I consider the first few sessions a trial period where we determine if proceeding is the most appropriate for your presenting issues and to make sure we’re a fit for each other. If not, I will then provide referrals to other clinicians if I feel they may be better suited for your particular concerns.

Do you offer telehealth? What are your hours of operation?

Currently, I primarily offer in-person sessions, but will also hold telehealth sessions if that is more convenient for scheduling or due to current COVID health-related concerns. Additionally, I travel 2-3 months out of the year and hold telehealth sessions for those periods of time. I also provide teleheatlh for Texas residents living outside the Austin area. Generally, I see clients from about 10:30am until 5:30pm Monday through Thursday.

What are your fees?

My fee for a 50 minute session is $225. My fee for an 80 minute session is $350. I prefer to work with couples in an 80 minute format, biweekly, however in times of acute need, weekly 50-minute sessions may be recommended. Group therapy fees are currently set at $70 per 90-minute session.

Can you collaborate with my physician for couples sex therapy?

Yes! I'm dedicated to collaborating with top-notch medical providers to offer the best, most thorough, wraparound care for my clients presenting with complex sexual issues. I have good relationships with both North Austin Urology and Sullivan Physical Therapy for sexual problems ranging from pelvic pain, vaginismus, rapid (premature) ejaculation, erectile difficulties, fertility concerns, low testosterone, and arousal and desire difficulties.

Do you offer weekend intensive sessions?

I do not at this time. However, I highly recommend Amy Lombardi, LPC. Amy Lombardi, LPC is a Gottman and Relational Life Certified Therapist who has worked with couples for over 20 years. She specializes in full-day intensive counseling sessions for hurting couples in need of quick results. Learn more about Amy's intensive sessions here.
